This project was a not for profit, community supporting initiative. As a direct response to the Covid-19 pandemic, I wanted to create something that effectively allowed local businesses to communicate their offerings to the community at any given time. There was so much misinformation over who was offering what, this platform simplified the issue. The facebook group connected the community further and added a more community interactive element.
The site is now setup and regularly is updated by users, who make changes whenever their offerings differ. It also serves as a platform for a blog, which will include community news and (after the pandemic) small business features.
The group and website also create an effective platform for promoting community events.
